We always suggest to use connected to the standard hose of 10 (to 50 mt) diam. 1/4" ( 6 mm) a piece of 1,2 mt with bigger diameter (3/8" - 10 mm) as vibration dumping hose that "absorb" the vibrations and makes the pump works better.
Then remember to always use steel braided hoses and not textile ...
